Decision made: my offroad Jeep is moving to Tampa so I can actually get out with it in my hometown. It's been living away too long — time to bring the trails home.
The Plan
Towing the rig to Tampa so I can get out more with it now. The goal is simple: more offroad action, closer to home, on the regular.
The Trip
14 hours of towing, straight up. The Jeep sat on the trailer like a champ — no sway, no drama, just miles. Which is exactly why the one bit of excitement stood out so much.
Chattanooga Chaos
Rolling through Chattanooga and — bang. Blew a trailer tire. Right in the middle of the trip. Nothing like a sudden thump and a wobble to wake you up on hour six of a tow. Pulled over, swapped it out, got back on the road. Some excitement to break up the monotony, but nothing a spare couldn't handle.
14 hours towing, one blown tire in Chattanooga, zero other drama. I'll take that trade.
Home
Made it to Tampa safe, Jeep in one piece (tire aside), trailer intact. It's home now, and the offroad season in Florida officially starts soon. Trails, beaches, and who knows what else — hopefully a lot more offroad action coming.
